When Were Vapes Invented?

When were vapes invented and who invented e-cigarettes?

The concept of vaping, or using an electronic device to vapourise a liquid and inhale the resulting vapor, has been around for many years. However, the first modern e-cigarette is generally credited to a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik, who invented the first vaping device in 2003.

Hon Lik’s e-cigarette used a battery-powered heating element to vapourise a liquid solution, which typically contained nicotine, propylene glycol, and flavorings. The device was designed as an alternative to smoking and was intended to provide users with a way to inhale nicotine without the harmful smoke and chemicals produced by burning tobacco.

Since its invention, the e-cigarette has evolved and there are now many different types and brands of e-cigarettes available on the market. Vaping has also become popular among people who are trying to quit smoking or who are looking for a less harmful alternative to traditional cigarettes.
